While all of our lives are to be lived in worship, what we do
in the sanctuary when we gather for worship is
exceptionally focused on to the Triune God.
We seek to take seriously the truth that worship always
involves revelation and response. God reveals Himself to
us by His word and Spirit and we respond by listening,
speaking, praying, singing, and giving.
We believe in expository preaching. Hearing from God in
His word makes up the majority of our time in gathered
worship. The rest of our worship responds to what God
has revealed. Our worship – singing – largely traditional –
litanies, prayers, and blessings are woven around our
study of God’s word in that service. And so at times our
worship will be joyful and at times it will lament the
sorrows of this life; at times it will be victorious and at
times it will be full of confession. Again, we seek to
respond to whatever God is revealing in His word.
We believe that we live not by bread alone but by every
word that comes from God’s mouth and we would love for
you to worship our promise-making, promise-keeping God
